Easy Like Sunday Opens at Cross Keys

–Café Serves Breakfast, Lunch, and Brunch Daily–

March 29, 2023 – BALTIMORE – the much-anticipated Easy Like Sunday café opened with a capacity crowd in The Village of Cross Keys this morning.  Diners were enjoying the restaurant’s globally inspired menu featuring locally sourced fresh ingredients paired with elevated gourmet coffees and cocktails.

“We are thrilled with the reception we’ve received so far,” said Antonios Kokolis who owns the restaurant along with partners Sean and Anna MacCuish.  “We are gratified to see a full restaurant and happy customers.”

“We know that Cross Keys is a home run location,” said Partner & Executive Chef Sean MacCuish.  “When we toured the property and understood its history as well as Caves Valley’s vision for its revitalization, we immediately wanted to be a part of making Cross Keys the place for people to gather in Baltimore once again.”

The Easy Like Sunday team has reimagined the former Village Square Café space into a chic, earthy, and contemporary vibe.  The menu features classics along with new takes on items such as its signature ricotta stuffed French toast, fried chicken Benedict with bacon jam, and short rib hash with eggs, roasted potatoes, Fresno peppers, caramelized onions, and crème fresh.  Regionally inspired dishes like crabcake Benedict along with a broad selection of coffees and a full bar round out the menu.

“The comfortable atmosphere and actively engaged ownership are just what we need at Cross Keys and in Roland Park,” said Arsh Mirmiran of Caves Valley Partners, which owns and is actively redeveloping the property.  “My family and I ate here during their soft opening this past weekend – the food was delicious, and the service was attentive.  Easy Like Sunday will be the next edition in Cross Keys’ long history as Baltimore’s ideal location for power breakfast and lunch meetings and for brunch on weekends.”
