Offices at Village Square in Cross Keys Over 95% Leased

February 8, 2023 – BALTIMORE – Caves Valley Partners announced today that it recently signed over 12,000 square feet of leases at The Offices at Village Square in Cross Keys, which brings the marquee office space at the project to over 95% leased.  New tenants include Victor Capital Partners, Stanton Chase, Shot Tower Capital, and The France Merrick Foundation, as well as an expansion for New Story Schools.

Victor Capital Partners

As a leading middle market firm, Victor Capital Partners provides equity capital and resources to branded businesses with outsized growth potential.  Victor Capital Partners focuses on three sectors – specialty consumer products and services, industrial manufacturing products and services, and business services – where they offer deep domain expertise, a proven track record of success, and powerful resources to accelerate progress.

“The Offices at Village Square portray the right image for our company,” said Matt McLain, Partner of Victor Capital Partners.  “Cross Keys aligns with what we look for in investment opportunities – innovation, branding, and a commitment to building lasting intrinsic value.”

Stanton Chase

Continuously ranked in the top 10 executive search firms worldwide, Stanton Chase’s Mid-Atlantic office serves clients from all industries both public and private alike throughout the United States.

Stanton Chase Managing Director Mickey Matthews said, “We are excited to be part of the new energy and offices that are underway in Village Square.  The modern renovation, convenient access, ample parking, and complementary co-tenancy make it the perfect spot for us.”

Shot Tower Capital

Shot Tower Capital is an investment banking boutique providing advisory and capital raising services in the media sector with a specific focus on the music industry where it has completed more transactions globally than any other investment banking firm.

In addition to representing major and independent music companies and some of the most iconic music catalogs of all time, Shot Tower has extensive experience working with significant artist estates on matters relating to music and image rights including Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Prince, Elizabeth Taylor, and Robin Williams.

“We love what Caves Valley Partners is doing at Cross Keys,” said Shot Tower Partner Robert Law.  “The mix of restaurants and retail that will be opening, along with Cross Keys’ location in the City at its nexus with the County make it the perfect location for our business and our team.”

France Merrick Foundation

The France Merrick Foundation will increase slightly in size when it moves from its longtime offices at Cross Keys’ The Quad office building to the Offices at Village Square.  The grant-making foundation favors one-time, project-oriented requests with a primary focus on the Greater Baltimore area, and will be moving into space overlooking the renovated courtyard at the Village Shops.

Additional Office Activity

  • Prior to occupancy, New Story increased its space by 30% in Village Square.
  • In addition to the clinic it operates in Village Terrace, Everhart Veterinary Medicine has leased 570 square feet in the Offices at Village Square.
  • Upper90 Capital Management, a New York City-based investment firm that provides debt and equity to startups has also recently moved into its new office in The Quad office building.
  • The Groove Commerce and New Story offices are complete; both companies are now operating out of Cross Keys.

“We are gratified that our vision for Cross Keys continues to be understood and shared by such a great group of office tenants,” said Mirmiran.  “We are thrilled that we continue to attract Baltimore’s leading professional services, venture capital, and tech firms to the property and are looking forward to having the offices at The Quad similarly leased in the coming months.”

Matt Mueller and Dylan Bozel of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate represented the Landlord in all of these transactions.
