Summer Sales, Renovations, and Upcoming Events: The Latest Happenings at Cross Keys


Exciting new renovations at Cross Keys include the installation of cedar on facades around the East Breezeway, a fresh coat of white paint on the stairwell walls leading up to the Village Square, new signage and much more! The Fall Maker’s Market is less than a month away! Produced by Bit’s and Bob’s Baltimore, 40+ local artisans, crafters, makers and small businesses will be at Cross Keys on Saturday, September 10th from 10 am-2 pm. Celebrate Baltimore’s local businesses with us in our outdoor market, and maybe even pick up some really early holiday gifts!


Artist Jimmy Rouse, son of Cross Keys founder and developer James Rouse, has a solo exhibition of his paintings, prints and woodcuts on display! The show runs until Oct. 21 in the gallery space at Monument Sotheby’s International Realty located at 42 Village Square at Cross Keys, 5100 Falls Road. Gallery hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.⁣ A reception with the artist will be held on Thursday, Aug. 18, from 4 to 6 p.m.


Baltimore School of Music is hosting an Open House at their new location at the Village of Cross Keys on Saturday, August 27th from 10 am-12 pm. Join them for a fun-filled morning featuring live performances, instrument demonstrations, Mini Maestros classes and a special appearance from the Oriole Bird! This event is free for the whole family; no registration is required.
