“It is incredibly exciting to see Cece’s Roland Park come to life as we prepare to open on June 13,” stated Reed Cordish, Principal of The Cordish Companies. “We are thrilled to have the immensely talented Chef Nick Sharpe as the driving force behind Cece’s.  In marrying the redevelopment of Cross Keys with this elevated dining experience, we are confident that Cece’s Roland Park will fill a unique niche and become a cornerstone in the community for years to come.”

A Maryland native, Chef Sharpe began his culinary career nearly two decades ago and has worked under several chefs with James Beard awards and Michelin stars including Jeffrey Buben, Fabio Trabocchi, and Michael Mina. Prior to joining Cece’s, Chef Sharpe was with the Mina Group, most recently as Executive Chef at Michael Mina Bellagio, a Michelin one-star rated, Five Diamond Award-winning seafood restaurant with a focus on French and Japanese cuisine.

“It’s an honor to be able to come back to my home state of Maryland to join Cece’s Roland Park as Executive Chef,” stated Chef Nick Sharpe. “I’m excited to bring my experiences from working with some of the country’s most renowned chefs to Baltimore with a very special menu being curated especially for Cece’s. Cece’s eclectic offering of experiences will each be special, whether you’re coming in to enjoy our main interior dining space, enjoy hand crafted pastas and pizzas with the family in Cece’s Kitchen, or dine al fresco in the open-air courtyard.”

Cece’s stylish, yet comfortable atmosphere will take advantage of the unique setting at Cross Keys by using both indoor and outdoor spaces. Led by Baltimore-based, internationally recognized design firm RD Jones + Associates, under the direction of Founder and Principal Rebecca Jones, the restaurant will feature a beautiful main interior dining space with a signature bar and private dining room. The adjacent Cece’s Kitchen will offer house-made pastas and pizzas in a casual family setting. An exquisite open-air courtyard, designed by renowned Baltimore-based landscape architect, Bob Jackson Landscapes under the direction of Founder Bob Jackson, will feature beautifully landscaped areas for al fresco dining as well as private parties under a star-view canopy.

Cece’s Roland Park is adding to the growing roster at The Village Shops at Cross Keys.  The recently opened Easy Like Sunday breakfast, brunch, and lunch café is bringing back customers and generating sales volumes not seen at Cross Keys for years.  In addition to national concepts like Williams Sonoma, Yves Delorme and the soon-to-open Bluemercury, and acclaimed local boutiques like Pied Piper and The Store Ltd., Cross Keys features upscale service providers like Corbin Salon, Numa Aesthetics, and Ivchankova Studio, along with other longtime retailers.  The office space at Village Square is fully leased, primarily with financial and professional services firms.

“We are thrilled to have Cece’s Roland Park opening as a key part of the vibrant dining scene we are creating at Cross Keys, with six new food and beverage leases signed and a seventh under negotiation,” said Arsh Mirmiran, a partner at Caves Valley Partners and the lead developer of Cross Keys.  “The Cordish Companies’ incredible hospitality expertise, coupled with the Cordish family’s deep community ties and knowledge of the Roland Park community, is bringing a much needed and new upscale dining option to North Baltimore. Cece’s is a magnificent new concept for Cross Keys that will take advantage of a reimagined vision for the beautiful and mature courtyard.
