Easy Like Sunday Will Bring Breakfast, Lunch and Brunch to Cross Keys

Caves Valley Partners announced today that it has signed a lease with Easy Like Sunday to operate an approximately 2,700 square foot restaurant at the Village of Cross Keys in the former Village Square Café space.

Easy Like Sunday will bring its comforting All-American breakfast, lunch, and brunch to Cross Keys. The restaurant will feature globally-inspired dishes and showcase locally sourced fresh ingredients, paired with elevated gourmet coffees.

“We love brunch,” says Sean MacCuish who owns Easy Like Sunday along with his wife, Anna. “We don’t like to get too far away from the classics, because every breakfast lover can appreciate the simplicity of pancakes and eggs – it’s the use of quality ingredients such as cage-free eggs and 100% maple syrup that makes all the difference.”

The relaxed atmosphere will provide the perfect setting for diners to enjoy popular dishes such as shrimp and grits and blueberry ricotta lemon pancakes, along with craft mimosas and cocktails.

Easy Like Sunday also puts a twist on things to keep it crafty and introduce new types of breakfast cuisines. For example, fried chicken and cornmeal pancakes served with cinnamon maple butter and fresh peach habanero jam is a twist on classic chicken and waffles. Several Baltimore specialties will be on the menu.

While the first Easy Like Sunday is located in Charlotte, the MacCuishes have deep roots in Baltimore. Anna is a Baltimore native and grew up in her family’s iconic G&A Restaurant. Sean hails from San Diego, has been working in the restaurant industry since he was 16, and serves as the company’s Head Chef.

“We believe strongly in CVP’s vision for the property and can’t wait to be a part of the Cross Keys redevelopment,” said MacCuish. “We look forward to moving to Baltimore and raising our children there.”

“Easy Like Sunday is a perfect fit for Cross Keys,” said Mirmiran. “The vibe, the local roots, and the creative menu will draw customers from throughout Baltimore. Easy Like Sunday will be the next exciting concept to continue Cross Keys’ longstanding tradition as the ideal central meeting place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch.” Easy Like Sunday will open in the spring of 2023.
